1.Introduction

By accessing or using PikaEdit (pikaedit.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use PikaEdit.

2.Service Description

PikaEdit provides free, browser-based tools for processing PDFs, images, text, and developer utilities. All tools are provided at no charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool or the entire service at any time, without prior notice or liability.

3.No Warranty

PikaEdit and all its tools are provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate. Use all tools at your own risk. Always keep backups of important files before processing them.

4.Acceptable Use

You agree to use PikaEdit:

• Only for lawful purposes
• In ways that do not infringe the rights of others
• Without attempting to overload, disrupt, or attack the service

You may not:

• Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to scrape or overload the service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or compromise the service
• Use PikaEdit to process or distribute illegal content
• Resell or commercially exploit PikaEdit output without proper attribution

5.Intellectual Property

The PikaEdit name, logo, interface design, and original source code are our intellectual property. Your files and their contents remain entirely your property — we make no claim over files you process using our tools. Open-source libraries integrated into PikaEdit remain under their respective licenses.

6.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PikaEdit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including data loss, file corruption, or loss of business. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us, which is zero as the service is free.

7.Notes Feature

The encrypted-notes feature stores encrypted data on our servers temporarily. Notes are automatically deleted after your chosen expiry period. We provide no guarantee of indefinite storage. Do not rely on the notes feature as your sole backup for critical information.

8.Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Turkish courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

9.Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of PikaEdit after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
