Which video formats are supported?
MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM and AVI up to 500MB. The result is always an MP4 (H.264 video, AAC audio) that plays almost everywhere.
Will my video look blurry?
Lowering the resolution always removes some detail, but H.264 at these quality settings keeps the picture clean at the new size. Choose Best quality if file size matters less to you.
Can it make a video bigger or sharper?
No. If your video is already at or below the chosen resolution it is only re-compressed, never enlarged.
Why are 4K videos limited to 10 minutes?
4K files need far more processing power. To keep the tool fast for everyone, 4K videos are limited to 10 minutes and 1080p or lower to 20 minutes.
Is my video stored on your server?
Your video is processed on our server. The original is deleted as soon as compression finishes and the compressed file is removed within 20 minutes. Nothing is kept permanently.
