How does background removal work?

An AI model runs directly in your browser to automatically detect and separate the foreground from the background. Your files are never uploaded to a server.

Which image formats are supported?

JPG, PNG, and WEBP images are supported. Maximum file size is 10MB.

Why is it slow on first use?

The first use downloads a ~5MB AI model which is cached in your browser. Subsequent uses are much faster since the model is already loaded.
